The Brief:
2020 ISTD Project 2 – The Significance of Numbers:
Change the way we think about numbers and fire your audience’s imagination to see the world with fresh eyes. Research and investigate the philosophical and factual
elements of numbers and create an engaging experience for your target audience – make them fall in love with mathematics.

The Concept:
A book all about zero – looking into the history and origin from all over the world, and how it was used (or avoided); to present-day, cutting-edge theorems and concepts surrounding the number and how it can be used in mathematics. Oh, and the book has holes in it. These holes 'fill' negative space, and are meant to signify what zero – the absence of something – really means.
Details:
Solo Project; 4 weeks.
Deliverables: 4 sets of 16-page signatures, plus covers (minus holes).
